Reflecting on 2014, I hope we can all say that we've become happier; I know I sure did. Making the decision to leave high school was both hard and easy in different aspects. But, having more knowledge of what I'm heading in to, and knowing what would become of me if I stayed another two years, I'm glad I left. I know in my deepest sense that this decision will help me become my greatest version; a goal of which I invite everyone to follow. I know everyone says to "Do your best," but I find a lot of people do not understand what this means.
Life is not about living up to everybody's expectations, because - trust me - you CAN'T please everyone. Doing your best, becoming your greatest version, is about pleasing ourselves, and loving ourselves 100%. When you love yourself for who you are, 100%, it is truly the best you will ever feel. Love is not complicated, but it took me a long time to understand. It was thanks to the people (I like) who I surrounded myself with this year that helped me reach this understanding, and I hope one day to return the favour.
And with that being said, I want to share my final artwork(s) of 2014, which is also my first artwork of 2015.
I named it "Equilibrium".
